Replacement of normal liver tissues by fibrous tissues is called liver cirrhosis. Liver cirrhosis may be considered as a stage in which the liver reaches after confronting certain causative factors for a prolonged period of time. In the advanced stage, liver cirrhosis can lead to ascites, which is an accumulation of fluid in the abdomen. Due to Liver problems almost all functions such as digestion of food, the complexion of skin, feeling of hunger, production of blood, etc get considerably hampered.
